math investigatory problems

Hi math wizards! I would really appreciate some guidance with math investigatory problems on which I’m really stuck. I have this homework due and don’t know where to solve parallel lines, simplifying fractions and percentages . I would sure appreciate your assistance rather than hiring a math tutor who are very costly .

I have been in your place a few years ago when I was studying math investigatory problems. What part of midpoint of a line and y-intercept poses more problems ? Because I think that what you really need is a good software to help you understand the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a software like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the answers .
