excel functions cubic equation

Hi! Our class just started doing a new chapter in algebra regarding excel functions cubic equation and I did well for most assignments we had but the latest one my professor gave really complicated so I'd appreciate if someone would help me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my algebra teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but still can’t get it right. I can’t finish it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time solving my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of long division gives me difficulty just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if somebody help me in explaining the steps and how to answer it in a organized and clear way.

Hello, just a year ago, I was stuck in a similar situation. I had even considered the option of dropping math and taking up some other subject. I remember having often faced problems with least common denominator, factoring expressions and least common denominator. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Intermediate algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
