rationalizing denominators

Hi All, I am in need of help on factoring polynomials, radical inequalities, powers and decimals. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to understand the bedrocks of Basic Math fully . Can anyone suggest the best place from where I can begin reading the basics? I have an exam next week.

This story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was great in algebra for many years, when I began Algebra 2 there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed so complicated . I remember I got a very low grade when I took the test on rationalizing denominators. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything quite easily , even proportions and subtracting exponents. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a a colleague. I have been using it since then whenever I found something difficult .
