prenticehall mathmatic workbook is my worst problem. Can any one assist me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

I remember having problems with least common measure, mixed numbers and graphing parabolas. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear.
