Friends , I am in need of aid on mixed numbers, quadratic formula, logarithms and quadratic equations. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to learn the bedrocks of Remedial Algebra fully . Can anyone recommend the best place from where I can begin learning the fundamental principles ? I have the final next week.

I don’t think I know of any website where you can get your answers of simple equation worksheet checked within hours. There however are a couple of companies which do offer help , but one has to wait for at least 24 hours before getting any reply .What I know for sure is that, this software called Algebrator, that I used during my college career was really good and I was quite satisfied with it. It almost gives the type of solutions you need.

Yeah, that’s so true . I’ve used that software program before and it works like a charm. The detailed solution that it offers , will not only solve the problem at hand, but will also equip you with the knowledge to solve similar questions in the future. All my doubts pertaining to side-angle-side similarity and equation properties were cleared once I started using this software. So go ahead and try Algebrator.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with radical expressions, y-intercept and side-angle-side similarity. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
