Hello Math Gurus. Ever since I have started hyperbola equation matlab at college I never seem to be able to understand it well. I am excellent at all the other chapters , but this particular section seems to be my weakness . Can some one guide me in learning it properly ?

I agree , a good software can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the greatest. It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never had a software before I can tell you it's not complicated, you don't need to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

Algebrator is a remarkable product and is certainly worth a try. You will find many exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math more fun .
